The farm is greening up

Hello faithful customers and others interested in local regenerative farming. I am still operating the farm, raising grass-fed beef, keeping bees and maintaining the orchard. My son Cody is essential to this operation and also has his own food raising activities on his land.
I am truly looking forward to grass that is knee deep and hoping for a good hay crop this year. Drought has taken its toll on the rotational grazing plan with shorter rotations and the need to graze additional pastures when the rain does not come.
Honey and apples were not as seriously impacted. My honey is available about the North 13 Antique and Collectibles store if you are in the area.
If anyone would like to learn about bees and work some hives drop me an email and we will set up a time. I am also trying to get apple trees pruned - it seemed to go from deep cold to spring way too fast.
If you like the blog and would like to see more frequent posts (not once a year or less . . .) let me know. This blog was nudged into existence by my work buddy Bobby who looked at this website and said he would like to see the blogs return!
